AFI Supports Terrorists

It was very amusing to watch Anteaters for Israel's Co-President, Emilya Shaaya, publicly declare her club's support to the work of the 3xTerrorists, during the Q&A session of last night's program.

Don't you guys understand who your supporting?

Walid Shoebat and his goons are Evangelical Christians, who believe that the state of Israel must be established before Jesus Christ can return. According to Evangelicals once Christ returns, the Jews of Israel have two options; either to convert to Chrisitianity or to be killed.

Moshe Katz says the following about Shoebat:

"He claims to be Palestinian but nobody in the territories has ever heard of him. He says he was a former PLO fighter but strangely enough he doesn't have any documentation or proof to back up his claims.

Have you ever heard the phrase ‘never trust a man who sells out his own people’. That sums up Shoebat. He is too right wing in his rhetoric. He claims to be a former Moslem who now embraces Christianity and loves Israel. Well, how can you love Israel if the only road to salvation is through Jesus Christ? How can you proclaim your admiration for the Jewish people if you feel they are lost in not accepting Christ as the Messiah?... Shoebat is a former Lebanese militiaman who was brought over to Israel after the Southern Lebanon fiasco. He then set out to proclaim himself a Palestinian. In the end he is a former member of the Christian Phangist (Fascist) party who's making a living telling Jews what they want to hear. I'm one who will plant a tree in Israel before I give this man a dime.”

I guess they just take whatever support they can get.

New University- ‘UC Intifada’: Anti-Zionism Is Not Racism

‘UC Intifada’: Anti-Zionism Is Not Racism
Commentary

By Alaa Alomar

Alex Chazen, president of Hillel:The Jewish Student Union, was clever to assume in his article “MSU Hypocritical, Not Educational,” featured in last week’s New University, that someone would write a counter-article to respond to his false claims as well as those of many others. So if you are courageous enough to hear the point of view of a “racist” group that does more than give out free cupcakes to promote its causes, then keep reading this article.

The bigger and better Muslim Student Union’s anti-Zionist weeks become, the more Hillel and Anteaters for Israel try to convince everyone that MSU is anti-Semitic and anti-Jewish. To begin with, the accusation that MSU is a racist group is illegitimate. Racism is defined as the belief that due to differences in human character a particular race is superior to others, and Zionism (a movement that arose in the late 19th century which sought to reestablish a Jewish homeland in Palestine) is not a race. The speakers Amir Abdel Malik Ali, Rabbi Dovid Weiss, Lenni Brenner and Imam Mohammad Al-Asi all came to speak against Zionism, which as I have stated above is a movement and not a race, and this makes none of them racist.

The scaled representation of the apartheid wall featured facts and statistics – almost all of which came from the United Nations – about the oppression of the Palestinian people and the devastation that they live with, which again is not racist.

Having said this, let me continue by discussing an analogy used by Chazen, in his article which equates Christians with Jews and an imaginary “Christianland” to Israel. Chazen says, “Let’s say … my club puts on a week of events that I claim aren’t anti-Christian, but demonize the population and government of Christianland, saying that they don’t have the right to exist as a nation and they must be destroyed by any means necessary. … I doubt that many of you would say that I wasn’t being anti-Christian.”

The problem here is that MSU does not claim that Israel does not have the right to exist as a nation; MSU only claims that Israel does not have the right to steal the Palestinian people’s land to create a nation of their own, massacre the existing Palestinian population and then claim that “it was a land without people.” If it was “a land without people,” then who were the Israelis fighting against during the Arab-Israeli war of 1948 over this piece of land that created about 726,000 Palestinian refugees? Themselves? I don’t think so.

Of course, many other false accusations were made about the MSU’s anti-Zionist week. One such accusation made by Reut Cohen in her article “UC Intifada Circus Demonizes Israel” (New Univeristy, May 28, 2007) featured in last week’s paper was that the wall featured propaganda and false information. Cohen claims that the story of Muhammad Al-Durra, a 12-year-old boy who was shot by the Israel Defense Forces and died in his father’s arms, adding fuel to the events of the Second Intifada, never happened and was staged. The Israeli army destroyed most of the physical evidence at the site soon after the incident, including the wall that contained bullet holes indicating that the boy and his father had been fired upon. Why would the Israeli army find any need to do this if the evidence proved their innocence? Furthermore, Talal Abu Rachmeh, the cameraman for France 2 Television who got the incident on tape, said that the boy and his father were shot at during a sustained half-hour bombardment from the Israeli side, which means that the bullets were not from the Palestinians. I would appreciate it, as I’m sure many others would, if claims like Cohen’s could be supported with real evidence.

Cohen also mentions that speaker Amir Abdel Malik Ali said, “And we will not stop until we are either victorious or until we are martyred,” which she found sickening. Let me begin with some definitions. According to the American Heritage Dictionary, victorious is defined as “being the winner in a contest or struggle” and a martyr is “one who makes great sacrifices or suffers much in order to further a belief, cause or principle.” I don’t see what is sickening about wanting to win a war – people do not fight to lose – nor do I see what is so horrible about fighting and struggling for a cause you believe in. There is a war going on between the Palestinians and Israelis. It is reasonable to assume that there are killings on both sides. However, it is not reasonable to ask the Palestinians to sit in their homes and do nothing while F-16s from the Israeli side drop bombs on Palestinian cities like rain.

Lastly, Chazen states in his article that Hillel promoted Israel by giving out free food and T-shirts while MSU brought racist speakers. Of course, if you look at it from another perspective, one could say that while MSU dedicated an entire week to informing students about the oppression of the Palestinian people, a supporter of Hillel and AFI brought a clown to pass out balloons during the middle of the lecture, disturbing the audience.

Remember These Children

There have been 934 Palestinian children and 118 Israeli children killed since 2000. That is almost a 10:1 ratio.

Zionists claim that the deaths of these children was "collateral damage" and that many of these deaths were accidental.

The following website describes exactly how every child was killed since 2000...
Remember These Children

If you quickly glance at the Palestinian deaths, you notice something very bizarre. Many of the deaths came from fatal shots to the head, chest, and abdomen.

Which would raise the assumption that these children are being purposely targeted. Actually, there are too many children that were murdered like this to call this an assumption, it must be a fact.

Israeli soldiers purposely aim above the waist in order to inflict fatal wounds and maximum damage to these defenseless children.

Just take a look at the numbers and tell me who is really "collateral damge" and who is really targeting children?

The Case of Sami Al-Arian

"As the son of Palestinians forcibly removed from their land after the creation of Israel in 1948, he considered it his obligation to bring attention to the plight of the Palestinian people from his position of influence in the United States. He held conferences and published literature to tell the story of Palestinians living under occupation. "

Sami Al-Arian, a Palestinian professor who has been unjustly incarcerated for four and half years now because of his criticism of the apartheid state of Israel.

He has faced much harassment and abuse during his detention. His daughter desrcibes,

Upon my father's arrival, a prison guard remarked while strip-searching him: "Where are you from? Afghanistan?" Though my father refused to answer the demeaning question, the guard repeated it several times.
"It doesn't matter where you're from. If I had my way, you wouldn't be in prison. I'd put a bullet in your head and get it done with. You're nothing but a piece of s***."

We must continue in our stuggle to protray the truth of the apartheid state.
Keep Sami Al-Arian and his family in your prayers.

Terrorists, Freedom Fighters, and The Holy Land

Amir Abdel Malik Ali speaking at the flagpoles at UCI on the fourth day of our week-long event titled "Israel: Apartheid Resurrected."

The Zionists tried whatever foolishness they could think of to distract the crowd that was listening to Amir Abdel Malik Ali. You see some of this in the footage.

Note: The banner in the background that states "Death to Apartheid" was first used by the South African people in their struggle against apartheid.

Imam Al-Asi Speech at UCI

Imam Muhammad Al-Asi, internationally known Islamic scholar, lectures at UCI about Hamas, the Islamic Resistance movement in Palestine which is also part of the current government.

This was the first night event in our week long series of lectures entitled "Israel: Apartheid Resurrected."

Article in New University

In a recent article published in the New University, the official newspaper of UCI, a Zionist writer makes outrageous claims.

She claims that much of the information presented on our Apartheid wall was "propaganda" and that many of the events depicted on the wall "did not even occur or were not the fault of the Israelis."

First off, even with our incredible imaginations we would not even come close to being able to produce the amount of massacres and atrocities committed by the apartheid state of Israel. The facts are there, almost every statistic that we used on our display came from the UN.

The first ridiculous claim that she makes is that the Gaza Beach Massacre was not the fault of the Israeli military and that they had proof that they were not responsible for the murder of the Ghaliya family.

The Israeli army did indeed commit an investigation and this report completely cleared the army of responsibility. They blamed Palestinian groups for the deaths, which they claim were due to a mine under the sand.

This is not surprising coming from the Israeli army who would make up anything to clear their name.

Why not have an independent investigation? Not an Israeli or Palestinian one, so that personal agendas do not interfere with the investigation.

Well, actually there was an independent investigation done by the Gaurdian, which completely discredits the Israeli report.

"But the army's account quickly came in for criticism, led by a former Pentagon battlefield analyst, Marc Garlasco, investigating for Human Rights Watch. "You have the crater size, the shrapnel, the types of injuries, their location on the bodies. That all points to a shell dropping from the sky, not explosives under the sand," he said. "I've been to hospital and seen the injuries. The doctors say they are primarily to the head and torso. That is consistent with a shell exploding above the ground, not a mine under it."

The next claim is that the murder of Muhammad Al-Durra never occured. She says, "this incident never happened. The entire episode was staged and is what spurred the Palestinians into the Second Intifada."

Muhammad Al-Durra, twelve years old, came underfire by an Israeli outpost after spending the day carshopping with his father, Jamal. His father desperately tried to shield him from oncoming Israeli fire, but was not able to and Muhammad died in his arms.

The entire footage was caught by a France 2 cameraman, Talal Abu Rahma, who says...

"I can assert that shooting at the child Mohammed and his father Jamal came from the above-mentioned Israeli military outpost, as it was the only place from which shooting at the child and his father was possible. So, by logic and nature, my long experience in covering hot incidents and violent clashes, and my ability to distinguish sounds of shooting, I can confirm that the child was intentionally and in cold blood shot dead and his father injured by the Israeli army."

Below is the actual footage...

What kind of a person would openly deny that this ever occured?

FYI...the second intifada wasn't started with the murder of Muhammad Al-Durra, it began with Ariel Sharon's blatant and provocative visit to the mosque compound of the Temple mount which is sacred to all Muslims.

Her final claim is that the Palestinians staged a fake funeral in Jenin, where many Palestinians were massacred.

We are supposed to believe that Palestinians, while mourning their dead, are going to stage a mock funeral to gain the sympathy of the international community?

When has the sympathy of the international community ever benefited the Palestinian people?

The content of the Wall

Last week the Muslim Student Union argued for justice in the Holy Land, speaking out about the unjust Israeli policy towards the Palestinians, whether Christian or Muslim. An example of this was the incredible cruelty perpetuated by the checkpoint system, which has made the West Bank a virtual open-air prison, while contributing to the many unnecessary deaths of newborn infants and mothers, who are denied access to hospitals and give birth while waiting for security clearance.

What was shocking to see, however, was that supporters of the Israeli state called grave injustices such as these "unfortunate" rather than condemning them - in fact, blame was shifted from the oppressive policy of Israel to the democratically elected government which "refused to raise the conditions of their people." The Muslim Student Union here at UCI condemns with the harshest terms the senseless killing of innocent civilians, especially children, no matter what side that they happen to be born. However, Israelis stop short of criticizing just one policy of the Israeli government and instead point the finger right back at the Palestinian government. This is blatant hypocrisy on the part of the Zionists.

Another common argument we heard by Israeli supporters was that the information posted on the mock Apartheid Wall was false propaganda. Did they think the pictures of the children with bullets through their bodies were misportrayed? Did they think that the stories of the children dying on their way to school were made-up? Did they think there were fake pictures of Americans from the International Solitary Movement killed by racist Israelis? No, obviously the information was there for everyone to see - but most Zionists were blind to the facts, most of their hearts did not move, most of their tongues could not utter a single word of criticism of the Israeli government.

Finally, we received a lot of positive feedback from many students who thanked us for shedding some light on the issue, and we are proud to say that we will continue to speak out against injustice wherever it may be. Yet some said that the wall and the whole theme of the week was simply to curse the Israelis and did nothing to promote Palestinian culture. The purpose of the week is simply to educate the students who do not receive any kind of fair and balanced news coverage of the dire situation in the Holy Land. It is to have students start to challenge the status quo of what is around them, and to tell them that there are many people out there who are not afraid to speak out about the apartheid occurring in the Holy Land. It is to tell them that sadly, apartheid and all its racist policies IS the Palestinian culture that is being forced upon them.

The Palestinians are living where culture, freedom, and movement is suppressed and terror is an everyday emotion. When the Palestinians are finally recognized as equal human beings to the Israelis, then that is when there will be freedom in the region where Jews, Christians, and Muslims will live together in peace just as they did for hundreds of years prior to the establishment of Israel.

Zionists Clowning Around

Throughout our entire "Israel: Apartheid Resurrected" week, it was very interesting to observe the behavior of the Zionists, to say the least.

Historically, Zionists have gone unchallenged as they are clearly unable to sit quietly throughout the MSU's lectures due to their dogmatic nature of seldomly being challenged. A typical response from the Zionists would include shouting loudly, rudely interrupting the speaker, and in turn, distracting the listening audience/students in addition to humiliating themselves.

The first incident took place during Rabbi Weiss' speech entitled, "Anti-Semitism: The Zionist Facade." Rabbi Weiss is an active member of the Neturei Karta movement which is opposed to the establishment of and retains all opposition to the existence of the so-called "State of Israel."

As soon as Rabbi Weiss began to discuss the opposing ideologies of Zionism and Judaism, a Zionist community member rudely yelled out at the Rabbi. Rabbi Weiss continued his talk unmoved by the disturbance.

About half way into Rabbi Weiss' speech, two clowns, literally, appeared and began to put on a show for the audience behind Rabbi Weiss. One of these clowns turned out to be the so-called Rabbi from Long Beach, who is a frequent visitor to the UCI campus.

The two Zionist clowns began to pass out balloons and pamphlets all in an attempt to distract the audience of students who were listening closely to Rabbi Weiss.

Of course, as usual, the Zionist's plot completely failed and actually brought even more attention to Rabbi Weiss' lecture.

It was also interesting to observe the reactions of the members of the Zionist clubs on campus who were completely embarrassed by the actions of the so-called Rabbi, as it was obvious in their behavior.

The next day the so-called Rabbi from Long Beach, also showed up for Amir Abdelmalik's lecture titled "Terrorists, Freedom Fighters, and the Holy Land." Again, he did not disappoint.

In another attempt to distract the students that were listening to the lecture, the so-called Rabbi held an "American Idol Jihad Edition"competition. He ran around passing pamphlets as well as making a scene during the Question and Answer segment of the lecture. The students responded to this by yelling for him to sit down and allow respected people to ask questions.

Also during the same speech, a Zionist who had his face covered with a shirt, walked around holding a sign that read "Death to Infidels."

In the end, these actions actually promoted our events very well and exposed the Zionists for who they truly are.

US plans "Israel" missile shield

The House of Representatives just passed a $504 billion defense spending bill, $205 million of which will not even be spent on the defense of our country. Instead, it will be redirected towards a missile shield for the Apartheid state...

The
missile defence system is dubbed "David's Sling"...what a joke...

I do not recall David having the sixth strongest Army in the world, the second highest fleet of F-16s (behind US) , nuclear weapons, M-1 tanks, Apache helicopters, etc...

Articles on FBI Incident at UCI

The mock Apartheid wall has been getting some very interesting exposure in the local papers and here are a few articles about an incident that occurred with the FBI and MSU members...

OC Register - FBI actions at UCI questioned

Note-
In the online version of this article it states "...who were helping to disassemble a large wooden representation of the wall that Israelis have built in occupied Palestine."

In the paper version it states "...who were helping to disassemble a large wooden representation of the wall that Israelis have built around Palestinian territory."

It is very interesting how the media manipulates the words that they use in order to push a certain agenda.

LA Times - Tensions rise again at UC Irvine

"Israel": Aprtheid Resurrected Week

The Muslim Student Union at UC Irvine held a week of events titled "Israel: Apartheid Resurrected." This week was designed to educate the campus of the ongoing Apartheid that is taking place in Occupied Palestine.

The MSU built a mock Apartheid wall and posted facts, pictures, and artwork to help give a visual outlook of what is actually occuring in Palestine. The wall was very effective in educating the campus and many students were grateful to MSU for constructing the wall.

Daily, students would come up to MSU members and thank them for their hardwork. Many students admitted that they had no idea what the Palestinians were enduring and really appreciated that the MSU showed the suffering of the Palestinian people, which is often kept from the mainstream media.

Of course, the Zionists on campus were not pleased with the wall and many could not handle to see students reading the true nature of the Zionist state.

There was a specific incident where a Zionist woman wanted to take all the MSU's informative pamphlets, which were posted on a section of the wall and burn them.

Our wall was not able to stay overnight on campus because in 2004 another mock wall was set ablaze overnight by unknown assalaints. So, because of this we had to take down the wall everyday and store it in a safe location.

Below are some pictures of the mock Apartheid wall...
